Laine Lisowsky graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2010 with a Bachelors of Art degree. Originally from rural northern Kentucky, Laine draws her inspirations from pastoral farm settings and botanicals. She often creates rural landscapes and floral still-life using both watercolor and acrylic paints. Floral compositions and insect studies have long been a pursuit of hers as she finds much joy in trying to capture the beauty of a backyard bouquet. Natural colorful recreations of insect life, namely moths and butterflies, are a particular interest of the artist. Laine currently resides in Northern Kentucky with her husband and three young children
